Transported for Life on a charge of burglary and since arrival had been punished twice. Subsequently sent to Norfolk Island for Life but allowed to return to Sydney on certificates of ill health. 4 months later carried out a series of robberies in company with Vigors. Sentenced to be executed for being present, aiding and abetting George Vigors in the murder of James Noble in 1844
